It is not the Destination, It is the Journey

me.jpg

My name is Chris Aebig and this my journey through the ADL program.

It was time to get to work on my master’s degree.  All that remained was the choice of studies.  Educational Leadership looked very good as I have held many leadership positions in the past, but something was missing.  Once I figured out it was application, my choice was easy.  Applied Digital Learning could directly impact my class and was the best course for me to navigate.  All the professors have been extremely helpful as I navigated through the content of the course.  Completing assignments that were applicable to my class that will directly impact my students positively has been the high point of my journey.  I have gone through all the emotions as I continued.  Managing the whirlwind has been extremely stressful particularly this year, but I have made it through and passed the test the God has planned for me.  This page shares my journey through the ADL program.  All of the projects are included for each class taken.  I hope you enjoy your visit into my learning!

5305 Disruptive Innovation in Education Projects included completing an Innovation Proposal, & a literature review.  After these two items were completed, It was time to put together an implementation outline, and then create a video with supplements to communicate the plan.  The reflection of work completed included writing an evaluation of self worth in the class.  This argument is known as a contribution to learning and community.

- Disruptive education intends to break with the established model to improve the existing one.

I hope your tour has been as enlightening as this program has been for me.  As you have seen, I have done a pile of work satisfying assignments in this program.  These are more than assignments; they are reality for my program.  They all come together to create a better learning experience for all my students in the future.  I do not believe that it will stop here.  Now that the process of creating change through innovative ideas has been realized, I see a whole new world in front of me and I have my ADL professors and Lamar University to thank for it all.
