The Construction Trades Program serves high school juniors & seniors. There are typically 50-60 students per year in the class that is designed to get students started in a career in Construction.
It has been quite a journey setting up the class in the online setting. I have been forced to learn Google classroom and have relied on the experts (my students) to help me with the design. Create, recreate, continue.. Im sure that moving into a full launch that there will be many more obstacles to overcome. The assistance from my peers in the ADL program has been invaluable as well. I have aspirations of creating more and making this a very usable go to for the students of the future.
Construction Trades is one of 15 programs in our Career-Tech Center and follows a particular order of business (listed below) Students will have the opportunity to guide their own learning. depending on their chosen path, students can earn many credentials along the way that will help them to obtain their desired career.
